Behind the scenes we have been working hard to update the current website of Keukenmaxx. There is an urgent need to update the current website in all standards but we wanted to do it the right way with all stakeholders from start to finish. My role was to design a new website on the basis of a newly made brandmanual by one of our strategic partners. Next to the newly designed website I created a design system along with it. Did cardsorting to structure the navigation more logically for the user, tested several menus from mobile, tablet to desktop with high and low res clickable prototypes. And I was responsible for introducing micro interactions and animations throughout the whole website.
About the company

The brand aims to position itself as a provider of unique, custom-made kitchens for customers, with a strong focus on craftsmanship and high-quality materials. The first showroom was opened in 2011.
Design system
Carefully crafted with the users in mind
This is a small glance of the design system I created, with the CRO-team we carefully thought about structure, user-flows, learnings, and important KPI of the company. We uploaded every element into Zeplin which is our handoff tool to development so that they have all the necessary information to develop the website. Unfortunately I cannot upload the animation that would be a great feature to cover all aspects of the design. This project was for me one of the most fun to do because as a team we thought about many things and did a lot of brainstorming and involved all stakeholders from the start and most importantly we put the users first.
